Clumsiness

Clumsiness - Moving with awkwardness, no skill or grace.

Yup that pretty much defines me in a huge way. Being a person who did dancing for 2 years and horse riding, gracefulness and skill should come quite naturally right? Wrong. I am the complete opposite and I'm sure many people share this with me in the fact that I'm so clumsy that it should be a talent in itself!

Ill give you a little example: So, just last week my friend was sitting on the floor at the end of my bed when i try to attack her, causing me to fall right off the end in a massive heap bend into 2 just as my mother happens to walk into the room. Co-ordination skills are amazing at this age, am i right or am i right??

It doesn't help that i lose a lot of things on a daily basis and then i happen to miraculously find them... after i trip over them - this happens so often it doesn't even surprise me. OH! And don't even get me started when i see something that i could potentially step on so try to avoid it by watching it and if i look away, GUESS WHAT? I step on it.

My common sense levels are also pretty low at most points which contributes to this amazing talent of clumsiness. If you are clumsy you will definitely all have these moments:

- Dropping something you have only just picked up
- Tripping over something you saw coming
- You can barely walk in a line without stumbling
                                and
- You'll watch everyone else avoid something but you just cant seem to and land on the floor

Been there, done all that.

I embrace my clumsiness in a way that my friends are mostly aware of it and when i tell them my stories of what happened, i laugh with them so it does not bother me after it happens. But i still wish i wasn't as much of a klutz as i am but what am i gunna do?

I hope you all enjoyed this and maybe some of you can relate to it.

To you all, I'm just a hidden identity...

  1. I can relate to this post, so much!

Just yesterday, on a day out with my best friend in the local woods, I managed to trip over at least three times! Clumsiness has become something that comes naturally to me.

So never fear, you're not alone!

    1. Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone!

Its a natural thing to trip and hit something without even trying! At least I'm not the only one who does it!

  2. I find this a great post to read because I do find myself in this area.

I mean in sports I'm always with people who are the best at throwing at catching and I'm always the one to drop the ball or to do something stupid with it. I also can relate to stepping on stuff when your not looking as I have stepped on keys and plugs before. So your not alone on this.

This was a good blog and I did laugh a little not because of your mistakes but because I do this as well. So I can't wait to see your next post.

Yup thats me during sports as well and basically everyday life. Plugs are the absolute worst in terms of stepping on them.

      Thank you reading :)
